Fargo Review Article

5 things in the article that caught my attention...

1. The white setting to show the contrast form the usual dark theme.
2. The extensive dialogue in scenes to bring the speed of the film back to 'reality.'
3. The use of humor through-out the film, even during the killing scenes.
4. The way they avoid stereotypes by making the dominant male characters either fail or die.
5. The way in which the Coens bring to different storylines together to create one difinitive ending.

Introduction to AS Media Studies

So far in Media I have learnt about the following five rules...

-Mise En Scene
-Rule of Thirds
-Deconstruction of Images
-Camera Shot Stylings
-Denotation & Connotation

These are all very important rules and ideas that need to be used appropriately and carefully when creating a piece of work.
